Stress and Health

Stress is one of the most hazardous problems in a person's life. It is a disorder that can cause severe physical, emotional or psychological problem. People often get stressed due to various reasons like relationship problems, excess work, financial problems, parental problems, etc. The problem of stress is highly common in women. They often feel stressed during the hormonal change, puberty, menstrual cycle, pregnancy, menopause, etc. These problems affect the person's health and gives rise to various health disorders.

The stress can also be caused due to various happy moments. Following are some of the types of stress:
  • Eustress: This type of stress is generally caused due to fun and excitement.
  • Acute Stress: It is one of the most common types of stress. It usually lasts for a short time but occurs frequently.
  • Episodic Acute Stress: The episodic acute stress is same as that of the acute stress but usually lasts for a longer time.
  • Chronic Stress: The chronic stress is one of the serious types of stress and lasts till no proper treatments and precautions are taken.
According to various researches, people often get stressed due to medical problems like depression, diabetes, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, obesity, sexual dysfunction, and cancers. Thus, people suffering from these problems must take proper care of themselves and avoid stress. Stress is mandatory when a person suffers from a severe illness. However, it depends on us, how we handle this problem. One can implement various stress management techniques, healthy and hygienic diet and regular exercise to overcome the stress problem. Meditation is another best way by which you can control your stress. It helps you to relax your body and provide adequate rest to it.

People who work for long hours, must make sure to take adequate breaks at equal intervals. A little bit of stretching and walking at work will also help in relaxing your body. Take some time for yourself and your family. Carry out your hobbies or works you like to do during these hours. It's one of the best methods to relax and enjoy your life. Proper medical answers to the stress problems may help you in taking proper precautions to avoid any health disorders.
